The stud partition system offers a cost effective yet aesthetically pleasing solution for an office refurbishment that demands a high performance sound reduction or fire protection.
Stud partitioning contains galvanised steel sections at the core of the system, allowing partitions to be built to a height of 11.0 metres if necessary. A wide variety of standard and specialist plasterboards can be used in single or double thickness to achieve decibel reduction and fire protection levels similar to traditionally brick built walls.
Being a dry system stud partition can be installed with a minimum of mess, has no drying time and is finished with a surface fully decorated. All joints are either taped and jointed to provide a flush finish or can be trimmed with aluminium cover trims to match other elements of the building.
A wide variety of wall coverings , powder coated paint finishes, ironmongery and glass are used to create an aesthetic appearance similar to systems that would cost much more, making this a truly cost effective flexible option where fire and sound performance has to be met.
